Sustainable Metal Crafts

Hyojin Kim’s work draws on two decades of sculptural experience in Korea and Japan and a concern for the environmental impact of making. Working with permanently recyclable metals, she pursues sustainable methods of production. By preparing her own waxes, alloys, and molds, she achieves material precision and subtle texture, positioning material itself as a central element of her sculptural language.
